History - How It All Started

Vanilla Bean, just like any other site out there, once had to start out. I created my site on June 2nd, 2007. I had already been working with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro on sites like Piczo and Freewebs and so I decided I'd just make a site on myspace. It would get way more publicity after all.

The site started out as Exotic Layouts. I mainly just made layouts, instead of a little bit of everything. At first when I started out my site, I have to admit I was nowhere near where I am now. My graphics were not as good!! So, at first I did not know very much! I started out very small.

After a while I began getting more and more friends and my site became pretty popular. So I changed it to Vanilla Bean. I really have no idea why I chose this name or why I like it so much, but I liked it enough that I still have it today. I became making pretty much everything, from layouts to graphics to other coding and HTML stuff to requests and much more.

And now I have a sub-domain. I was going to get a domain myself, but I decided that this would be better; I would be getting to know everything about PHP files and all that other stuff. I actually learned how to do it within a couple hours! And all by myself too. I thought it would take me a very long time. So now that I have a sub-domain I don't have to worry about losing all of my content; which is a good thing! I have never actually gotten deleted before, but if I did I would have to start all over so this site really helps.
